DeNA just announced that it will rebrand its mobile social gaming platform Mobage-town to just “Mobage” from March 28. Mobage will also be the brand name for international markets. ngmoco’s plus+ community will be absorbed into Mobage from that day as well.
At the same time, DeNA unveiled a new logo for Mobage, which you can see above (the smartphone logo is on the far right).
Yahoo Mobage, the social games site DeNA runs with Yahoo Japan, also gets a new logo:
This move again shows that DeNA is trying to make itself ready to consolidate and internationalize this year. I am very skeptical about the last part, but I wish them the best.
