Major Japanese video game maker Square Enix announced (and already released) Traveling Fairy today, a new fantasy adventure for Mobage for feature phones. As you would expect from Square Enix, the social game looks pretty slick.
Traveling Fairy contains location-based elements and lets the player choose a fairy to fight different demons that lurk in different parts of the “world”. Square Enix says Mobage users playing their game can meet other users in 505 different regions all over Japan, based on the location.
As usual on Mobage, the game is free to play and monetized via sales of virtual items.
