Nice win for GREE: The company announced that KDDI au (Japan’s second largest mobile carrier and one of the investors) will sell all Android phones with GREE Market pre-installed on the home screen.
As the name suggests, GREE Market makes it possible for users to access GREE services and apps in a collected setting (more information). All that users need to do is to push the GREE icon on their KDDI Android handsets, as seen below:
GREE Market was launched in February this year for Android handsets (download). KDDI plans to start shipping the first Android handsets with the market pre-installed this summer.
