Kakaku today released the so-called Management Vision and Strategy Result Briefing for the First Quarter of the Term ended March 2012 (in English) today, and in a nutshell, things are looking pretty good.

What’s interesting (and buried in the report) is that restaurant site Tabelog continues to be an important property for the Kakaku group: the site counts a whopping 22.41 million users per month on the PC and an additional 5.31 million on cell phones. At 13.9%, Tabelog’s current reach in Japan is larger than that of closest competitor Gourmet Navigator (12.5%) – according to Nielsen Japan.
