Global Social Card Battle Hit Dark Summoner Reaches 3 Million Users [Social Games]

Social card battle game hit Dark Summoner, created by Nagoya-based Ateam, is still going strong.

After hitting 1 million downloads in July and 2 million in August, Ateam today announced their flagship title has crossed the 3 million user mark on October 30.

Dark Summoner was launched worldwide on iOS on February 23 this year, followed by an Android version on July 18. The game is not using the Mobage or GREE networks in any country.

It took Dark Summoner 250 days to get to 3 million downloads (the game is especially popular in the US and Japan).

To celebrate the new milestone, Ateam is running an in-game campaign that lets users win special “AA” monster cards (see below):
