Call For An Android Developer And Web Designer (For Project Work – In Japan)

C

For everybody expecting game-related stuff: sorry to hijack the site for this post – this might happen more often in the future.

Both projects would need to get started as soon as possible and require somebody living in Tokyo for various reasons. The budget is limited.

Needless to say, proposals to complete both projects in an “integrated” way (i.e. finding one designer to work on both jobs) are preferred.

Android Developer:

This is for an individual who can create a (relatively) simple Android application. Ideally, that individual would have certain design skills or help get a suitable designer on-board. If that designer can create (really simple) websites, all the better.

Please note that this is not for a game (it’s more of a utility with no overly complicated UI/menus etc.) and this isn’t a big, lucrative project (however, that’s absolutely possible in the future).

Here are the requirements:

  • language skills: Japanese (mother tongue is a must) and English (conversational level is enough)
  • residing in the Tokyo area right now (a must)
  • preferably a freelancer or an employee who is allowed to do part-time work (this project doesn’t require a company)
  • experience in Android app development and consultation to clients in Japan
  • interest in games is a plus
  • all elements and assets of the app (entire code, design, etc.) must be regarded as property of / transferred to the client

Rough initial mockups would be provided, the concept is essentially ready for execution. Further details would have to be discussed face-to-face. The app would need to be altered and updated regularly.

Web Designer:

This is for an individual who can create a company website. Here, too, the job is (relatively) simple and does not involve a large project (at this point, at least). There might be some integration necessary with the Android app mentioned above.

Here are the requirements:

  • language skills: Japanese (mother tongue is a must) and English (conversational level is enough)
  • residing in Tokyo right now (a must)
  • preferably a freelancer or an employee who is allowed to do part-time work (this project doesn’t require a company)
  • experience in website creation and consultation to clients in Japan
  • no interest in games necessary
  • all elements and assets of the site (entire code, design, etc.) must be regarded as property of / transferred to the client

For the website part, too, rough mockups would be provided. Further details would have to be discussed face-to-face.
