Nico Nico Douga might be Japan’s biggest homegrown video service, but Dwango’s site is clearly overshadowed by YouTube Japan, at least if data provided by Tokyo-based Video Research Interactive is to be believed.
Major Japanese tech news outlet ITmedia regularly releases data coming from the market research firm. DailyMotion, Veoh and Megavideo are following YouTube Japan and Nico Nico Douga (Alexa Japan shows similar results).
