This is a critical title for GREE: Konami just released Metal Gear Solid Social Ops, the first social game in the Metal Gear franchise, on the platform.
Both GREE and Konami announced the Unity 3D game during a special event in Japan at the end of August. I then had the chance to play an early version during the Tokyo Game Show in September – and liked it (but then again, I am a big fan of the Metal Gear series).
Metal Gear Solid Social Ops mixes adventure and card battle elements – Konami itself calls it a “card battle RPG”.
The title is F2P and available as a native app for iOS or Android. It’s expected to hit GREE’s global platform soon, too.
