GREE has announced yet another port of a hit game from a major Japanese console game maker: this time, it’s Square Enix, which started offering Chaos Rings Lite on GREE for the iPhone.
The RPG was released as a standalone app on the iPhone last year and reached the No. 1 position in a total of 15 countries worldwide. On GREE, the game isn’t really social: like with the port of puzzle game Bust A Move, for example, it’s largely the same title.
Chaos Rings Lite for GREE is free to play and monetized through sales of virtual items – which is a big difference to the paid iPhone app.
