I said it before, and I say it again: god Mammon sure loves Japan’s social gaming business.

And I think this quick update to highlight a comparison (August 18, 2012) between Zynga and their Japanese competitors is well justified:

• Zynga’s market cap at the NASDAQ currently stands at $2.3 billion.
• GREE’s market cap at the Tokyo Stock Exchange: $4 billion.
• DeNA’s market cap at the Tokyo Stock Exchange: $4.2 billion.

Yes, the Japanese seem to do something better at the moment.
