The Nikkei recently ran an article in which Japan’s biggest business daily compared the operating profits of DeNA and GREE in a handy chart.
The newspaper looked back at every quarter since July-September 2010, as both companies reported numbers for the last financial quarter (DeNA, GREE) a few days ago.
DeNA clearly outperformed GREE in terms of profit last quarter, but this chart shows that this can change quickly again – and how insane GREE’s number from January-March 2012 was (1 billion yen=US$12.2M at the moment):
