GREE Will Have A Booth At Tokyo Game Show 2012, Too [Social Games]

Tokyo Game Show 2011, E3, China Joy, gamescom: GREE appears to see value in setting up booths at game exhibitions around the world.

The company today announced it will again participate in the Tokyo Game Show (the 2012 exhibition will take place next month).

GREE explains:

GREE’s exhibit this year will be themed on the evolution of social gaming, with a lineup of game demos showcasing the breadth of GREE’s hit social games, from its own in-house games to games by third-party developers. The program will also include talk sessions and a program of entertainment.

As a gamer and fan, I was extremely disappointed by GREE’s booth at last year’s Tokyo Game Show: at that event, GREE had a gigantic booth, showcased several dozen games – but less than five were actually new. But as I mentioned last year, GREE’s intention was a different one.

Rival DeNA will skip the event this year, too.
